The planner who counts days, not hours.

Most of what leaves this studio runs longer than a wedding day. Four days in Umbria for a couple whose families arrived from two continents. Three in Puglia that began with a pasta night in a vineyard. Three on the Amalfi Coast that ended on a boat. Denise More came to weddings from art direction, took a Rome address in 2018, and built a practice around the part of a celebration that most planners treat as an accessory: the two days on either side of it.

Denise More

Denise More worked in art direction and advertising before she worked in weddings, a world of images and storytelling, and she says she left it for something more tangible. She founded her studio in Rome in 2018 and has spent eight years working almost entirely with couples arriving from somewhere else: the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Dubai, France.

She works with a named team rather than a rota. Claudia coordinates on site, Viviana styles, Luca looks after the guests, Martina films the day as it happens. Her own framing of the method is three lines long and unusually plain for this market: fewer weddings and deeper involvement, one clear vision and one continuous direction, no compromises on quality, timing or the guest experience. In 2022 Lux Life Magazine named her Best Wedding Planner and Stylist in Rome.

The Limit

Fewer weddings, deeper involvement.

It is the first line of her own philosophy and it is a commercial decision before it is a creative one. A studio that takes a limited number of celebrations a year can put the person who answered the first email in the room on the day. That is the whole argument, and it is why the date is worth asking about before anything else.

Six stages, and the same person through all of them.

Discovery and strategy first, to fix the vision and the priorities before anything is booked. Then venue and vendor curation, then creative direction and experience design, then the planning and budget architecture: structured timelines, strategic allocation, full visibility at every stage. Guest experience and logistics is treated as its own discipline rather than an afterthought, which is what a multi-day celebration actually requires. On the day the studio is on site coordinating. The couple is not managing anybody.

Full-Service Planning

Discovery, venue scouting, vendor curation, budget architecture and on-site coordination, carried by the same person from the first conversation to the farewell. The studio takes a limited number of celebrations a year in order to do it that way.

Multi-Day Celebrations

Welcome dinners, the wedding, farewell gatherings, and the guest experiences threaded between them. Three and four day celebrations are the studio’s usual scale, quoted and designed as one continuous experience rather than a longer version of a single day.

Design and Styling

Creative direction that starts from the building and the season: atmosphere, palette, lighting and the table. Her background is art direction, and the register changes with the place rather than travelling with her.

Multicultural Celebrations

Weddings that carry two heritages through the same weekend, with the ceremonies, the food and the running order built to hold both. Her Umbrian four day celebration ran Indian and Chinese traditions alongside a sunset welcome party with Italian folk music.

Rome

Her own city, and the one she works most. Villa Miani above the Eternal City, Villa Aurelia and its secret garden, the Basilica dei Santi Giovanni e Paolo with its chandeliers. Rome is layered and vertical, and the planning problem is access and timing rather than beauty.

Tuscany and Umbria

Medici estates and medieval abbeys. Tenuta di Artimino outside Florence, the Abbazia di San Pietro in Valle with its frescoes and its portico, Castello di Petrata above the Umbrian valley. Long light, long lunches, and celebrations that spread across several days without effort.

Puglia

Masserie, olive groves and whitewash. Masseria Montenapoleone and a three day celebration that ran from a pasta night in the vineyard to a ceremony among ancient olive trees to a pool party. The south is where the studio’s work looks least like anyone else’s.

Amalfi Coast and Capri

Vertical, expressive and logistically unforgiving. A three day immersion on the coast that opened with an Italian market and closed on a private boat sailing from Amalfi to Positano. Everything beautiful here arrives up the same road, on a schedule.

Investment

A Fee Quoted Against a Brief, Not a Package.

Weddings at This venue typically represent a total investment of Bespoke, depending on guest count, season, and the level of bespoke elements chosen.

Denise More does not publish a price list. The studio works with a limited number of celebrations a year and quotes each one against its own brief: how many days it runs, how many locations it touches, how many guests travel and how much production the design asks for. The route in is an application form rather than a price page, and the first conversation is about the shape of the celebration. Everything the fee covers is planning, design and coordination. Venue hire and every supplier are contracted and paid separately.
