There are five glasshouses in the grounds of One Marylebone and two more in the City at Long Lane. Each one holds a single long table under a canopy of blossom, each is hired privately, and The Regency Greenhouse is licensed for civil ceremonies. Weddings here run to 8 to 30 guests. That is not a limitation the venue apologises for; it is the entire proposition.

Vows Under Glass, Then Straight To The Table.

The Regency Greenhouse at One Marylebone is the licensed room. Guests take their seats beneath the glass, the vows are said with everyone close enough to hear them properly, and then the party moves next door to The Portland or The Devonshire, where the long table is already laid and the blossom is already hung. There is no coach transfer, no receiving line, no half hour of standing about. The whole day happens within a few metres of itself.

Middle Eastern, Cooked In-House, Shared.

The kitchen is the venue's own, and the cooking is modern Middle Eastern: sharing plates that arrive in waves and run from starters through to desserts, alongside a curated wine, cocktail, beer and spirit list. Sharing food suits a table of twenty. It keeps hands moving, plates travelling and conversation going, and it means nobody spends the wedding breakfast in silence over a solitary plate.

Licensed For Vows

The Regency Greenhouse holds the civil ceremony licence; the meal follows next door in The Portland or The Devonshire.

A Glasshouse Built For Two.

Among the five greenhouses at Marylebone there is one that seats exactly two people. One table, candles, glass overhead and planting on all sides. It is where a good number of the couples who later marry here first came, and it says something honest about what this venue is for. Not scale. Proximity. The same instinct runs through the wedding rooms, which is why the largest seats forty and the venue would rather host thirty.

The Marylebone greenhouses stand in the grounds at 1 Marylebone Road, moments from Old Marylebone Town Hall, where the register office is, and from Regent's Park, where the photographs happen. The City greenhouses are at 18-19 Long Lane by the Barbican, in the Square Mile. Both are central, both are reachable by tube in minutes, and both have hotels within walking distance for guests who are travelling in.

Pricing and What to Expect

A glasshouse of your own, for eight to thirty.

The Greenhouses works on a minimum spend rather than a hire fee. A civil ceremony and wedding reception at One Marylebone starts from £2,500, and a reception only at the City site starts from £1,650, with the whole allowance going on food and drink rather than on the room. A discretionary 12.5% service charge is added to the final bill, an optional celebration set-up service is £50, and additional hours are charged at £150. Registrar fees are paid separately to the register office. Figures are from the venue's own 2026 wedding brochure; the LWD team makes the introduction.
