Architecture as Natural as the Landscape.

In 1963, the French sculptor-architect Jacques Couëlle was commissioned by the Aga Khan to design a hotel that would appear to grow from the Sardinian rock. The result was Cala di Volpe, a building whose rounded arches, terracotta and rough plaster have inspired every significant structure on the Costa Smeralda since.
