Micklefield Hall is a 350-acre private working estate in the Chilterns, near Sarratt in Hertfordshire, founded as a wedding venue by Anna and Jamie Rankin and now run by their son Tom and his wife Annabel. Couples marry outdoors at The Temple, an open pavilion beside the pond under a 450-year-old oak, with guests seated on both banks, then dine for up to 200 beneath the oak framing of a 15th-century barn. There is one wedding a day, always, and the barn and gardens are yours from 8am to midnight.
