About Hampton Manor

A Victorian country-house hotel on a 45-acre estate near Solihull, design-led and food-led, for an exclusive-use wedding.

Hampton Manor is a Victorian country house on a 45-acre estate near Solihull in the West Midlands, in the Arts and Crafts tradition and reimagined as a design-led country-house hotel. Couples marry in the rustic Birches barn or under the clock tower in The Courtyard, a glass-roofed atrium, dine on in-house menus from a kitchen tied to its own Victorian walled garden, and take exclusive use of the Manor House with 24 individually designed bedrooms. On the estate, Grace & Savour holds a Michelin star.

Hampton Manor is one of the most quietly distinctive wedding venues in the West Midlands, a Victorian country house set on a 45-acre estate near Solihull, built in the Arts and Crafts tradition and reimagined as a design-led country-house hotel. It is grand without being grandiose, and above all it is a place that takes food and garden seriously, which gives a wedding here its particular character.

Couples marry in The Birches, a rustic barn of brick and exposed beams, or under the steepled clock tower in The Courtyard, a glass-roofed atrium that fills with daylight and seats up to 160, with a parish church adjoining the estate for those who want it. Beyond the walls lies a Victorian walled garden and a working kitchen garden, planted rows and old fruit trees that supply the kitchen and set the tone: this is a wedding fed, in large part, by the ground it stands on.

Available for exclusive use, the Manor House gives a couple the run of the house and its 24 individually designed bedrooms, layered in Morris prints and rich colour, with five Walled Garden Suites and a four-bedroom cottage besides. Wedding menus are cooked in-house, seasonal and generous, with the option of a spiced Asian feast, and on the estate the Michelin-starred Grace & Savour signals just how seriously the food is taken here.

Hampton Manor has 24 individually designed bedrooms across three settings. Fifteen sit in the reimagined Manor House, each with a modern nod to the Arts and Crafts era, layered in Morris prints, antique pieces and rich colour, and these are the rooms included with the wedding so the party stays in the house. It means a wedding here is a weekend on the estate, not a single day.

Food is the heart of Hampton Manor. Wedding menus are cooked in-house by the Manor's own kitchen, seasonal and generous, drawing on the produce grown in the estate's Victorian walled garden, with the option of a spiced Asian feast served family-style for sharing. No external caterers are brought in. On the estate, the Michelin-starred Grace & Savour, built into the walled garden, sets the standard for how seriously the food is taken here, so couples marry somewhere that treats a wedding breakfast as something worth remembering.
