A boutique Rome studio, a limited number of weddings, and most of them longer than a day.
Denise More plans and designs destination weddings across Italy from a boutique studio in Rome, founded in 2018. Multi-day celebrations for international couples, at a limited number a year, with the same person guiding the process from the first call to the last farewell.
Denise More founded her studio in Rome in 2018, after a career in art direction and advertising. That is the useful part of the biography, because it explains what the work looks like. She came to weddings from a world of images and, in her own words, chose them for something more tangible: emotions on the skin, and experiences that stay.
The studio plans destination weddings for international couples across Italy, and most of them run longer than a day. A welcome dinner, the wedding, a farewell, and the guest experiences threaded between them. Her portfolio reads as a run of them: a four day multicultural celebration at Castello di Petrata in Umbria that carried Indian and Chinese traditions through the same weekend, three days at Masseria Montenapoleone in Puglia that ended with a pool party, three days on the Amalfi Coast that finished on a private boat between Amalfi and Positano.
Rome is where she is based and where much of the work happens. Villa Miani and Villa Aurelia recur, and so does the Basilica dei Santi Giovanni e Paolo, the church of the chandeliers. Beyond the city she publishes Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast and Capri, Lake Como and Puglia, and her portfolio adds Umbria and the Lazio coast. The register changes with the place: a Medici estate outside Florence is not laid or timed like a masseria in the Itria valley.
She works with a small team, four people named on her own site with their roles, and takes a limited number of celebrations a year. Lux Life Magazine named her Best Wedding Planner and Stylist in Rome in 2022, and the Wedding Planners Pro Business Community recognised her as Best Destination Wedding Planner in Italy.

Denise was an utterly fantastic partner to work with while planning our wedding. She handled literally every detail (even those we didn’t think of!), worked within our timetable and budget, answered every question and executed our wedding beyond anything we ever imagined. She was always available if I wanted to talk about something. Most importantly, she had fantastic connections with a photographer, a venue and the hair & make-up team which made the day seamless, fun and as perfect as possible. Planning a destination wedding felt like a breeze while working with Denise.
She does not publish a price list. Each celebration is quoted against its own brief: the number of days, the number of locations, the guest count and the level of production the design requires. The fee covers planning, design and coordination. Venue hire and every supplier are contracted and paid separately. The route in is the application form on her own website.
A limited number each year. She states the limit rather than a figure, and the reason she gives for it is the first line of her philosophy: fewer weddings, deeper involvement. In practice that means the date is usually the binding constraint rather than the fee.
Rome. From there the studio works across Italy: the Lazio coast and countryside, Tuscany, Umbria, the Amalfi Coast and Capri, Lake Como and Puglia.
Denise and her team. Four colleagues are named with their roles on her own site: Claudia coordinates on site, Viviana styles, Luca looks after guest hospitality and logistics, and Martina documents the celebration as it happens.
As early as you can, because the studio’s own availability tends to run out before the venues do. Couples in her portfolio describe planning runs of a year to eighteen months, several of them managed almost entirely from abroad.
Yes, and most of the portfolio is not. Umbria, Tuscany, Puglia, the Amalfi Coast and the Lazio coast all appear, and the team travels for venue walkthroughs. One American couple flew in with a single day free and the team drove out from Rome to meet them at the venue.
